24 Aug Nike Air Wild Mid Trail Shoe: Comfort of a Sneaker Yet Still a Hiking Boot
It seems like more tennis shoe companies are entering the hiking boot market. Nike and hiking boots aren’t usually in the same sentence. However, Nike has entered the trail shoe market with the introduction of the Nike Air Wild Mid Trail Shoe. You will find traction along with the typical Nike comfort in the Air Wild Mid Trail Shoe…the result is a “sneaker boot.”
A take off of the standard Nike Air Wild, the new Wild Mid Trail Shoe features lightweight cushioning, a foam sole with heel airbag which provides lightweight cushioning, and a durable rubber outsole with an aggressive traction pattern. The Mid extends the uppers with a neoprene material around their ankle entry. This provides the perfect flexibility and comfort you get in the classic Nike shoe. An added feature is a reflective 3M reflective material overlaid around the foot for extra nighttime visibility.
The rugged traction sole and comfort leather uppers make for an ideal combo for even the toughest of trails. Keep your eyes on Nike for more info on this upcoming release.
