A good pair of waterproof hiking boots with ankle support is a necessity when scaling mountains or trekking cross country. But if you’re looking for something a little lighter and more fashion forward than your typical boot, you may want to take a look at Under Armour’s Newell Ridge boots.
The Newell Ridge look more like a classic pair of Under Armour trainers than hiking boots, with their breathable woven upper and EVA midsole. The outsole is made from Michelin OC compound for grip and traction in the outdoors – and it’s quite rugged. There’s also a obligatory Gore-tex waterproof membrane for protection from the elements, and the obligatory Under Armour logo.
These boots are also exceptionally light, weighing in at about a pound on each foot.
