Moots has been making fantastic mountain bikes in Colorado since 1981, and they clearly know what they’re doing. The Moots Farwell is a versatile hardtail with the option to switch tire sizes for different terrains, from 27.5″ for rugged trails to 29’ers for flying cross country. Not only that, but it’s made from seriously strong, lightweight titanium.

The Farwell has a 120mm fork, ultra short chainstays and kicked back head angle, ensuring that this bike has excellent agility and handling on even the toughest of surfaces and trickiest of winding trails. The long top tube, short stem and stock 2.8″ tires (which can be changed out in a pinch with the tires of your choice) all make for smooth, agile handling. And all this comes with Moots lifetime warranty, so you never have to worry about your bike again.

Moots also offers an array of custom options, such as an anodized body, custom frame etching, internal electronic routing, and stealth dropper seat post routing.

The Farwell isn’t cheap, but it sure is sweet. If you love yourself some flowing cross country but can’t sacrifice trail handling and agility, it may just be worth the investment.
