I bought this knife never having owned a Ruike blade, and I was Not disappointed. The quality of the knife can be felt immediately, there is basically no wobble/play in the blade and everything is held together very tightly. Out of the box, it was razor sharp (as per my very scientific arm hair-shave test) and is easily deployable with one hand.

Pros : Love the jimping on the ring, it provides better grip/ease of manipulating the blade in the hand. The texture and shape of the handle is also very comfortable.
The blade shape is also advantageous over a typical Karambit shape, in that it still allows for effective thrusting (forward poke) as opposed to the slashing techniques that a traditonal Karambit requires due to the lack of a blade profile that runs in line with the handle.
Cons : Although the blade is easily opened with the assist on the back of the blade, I would love to see something like the Wave feature that makes rapid deployment without requiring a significant change to grip (such as the Fox Karambit)
Also, as a south paw I was slightly disappointed to not have this knife be fully ambidextrous- this would allow for more users to employ this knife effectively/with different grips.
