Looking for a new grill with summer right around the corner? Want to really step up your grilling game? The Weber Summit is a beast of a propane grill – with up to 769 square inch of cooking space, 60,800 BTU (hot) and a gorgeous cast aluminum body.
The Summit has 6 separate stainless steel burners, each with Weber’s individual Snap-Jet burner ignition system. Evenly spacing the burners provides even cooking over the whole grill system. The cooking grates are made from three choices of material – porcelain-enameled steel, stainless steel and porcelain-enameled cast iron. These materials help retain heat and cook food evenly – as well as being exceptionally easy to clean. The shape of the aluminum grill shroud allows allows for even distribution of the heat around food, cooking evenly with both direct and indirect heat.
There is also Weber’s Flavorizer bar system, which catches any falling grease and oil, which then sizzles and smokes right back up into your food for delicious, juicy flavor.
The Flavorizer bars are angled to let excess grease drain into the built-in grease management system – preventing flare-ups and keeping the burner tubes clean. A drip-tray and pan collect the grease and store it safely out of reach from the flame, and can be easily removed and cleaned, and are even disposable for easy replacement.
The main grill is flanked by a flush side burner, for extra space and versatility during big cookouts, and is also equipped with a Sear Station Burner – which kicks up the heat for instant searing.
And of course, this is the digital age – and Weber couldn’t help but put in a few treats. When the lid is raised, automatic tilt sensors activate two Grill Out lights, attached to handle, for grilling in the dark. There’s even an LED fuel gauge. The Summit also has the option for both liquid propane and natural gas.
If you’re looking for a heavy-duty grill with luxury looks and (almost) any feature you could need – the Summit is an easy choice.
