Sometimes, camping is all about getting into the wild, disappearing off the grid and blazing new paths. Other times, it’s just about getting outside for a few days. If you love spending a night under the stars but don’t care too much for blazing your own trail, check out Tentrr.
Tentrr lets you rent a tentsite, fully set up and equipped for a weekend in the woods. Each site has a wooden deck, with a large, white safari style tent all ready to go. There will be an inflatable, queen size cot (yes, queen size), two wooden chairs, a sun shower, campfire grill and campfire toilet. There will also be a Tentrr Campbox, which contains food prep, dry storage and a table. It’s all set to go for a weekend of outdoor fun – all you need to do is set up a reservation and show up, without lugging all your camping gear around.
At the moment, Tentrr is only available in the NY Catskills area, but they plan to expand in the future. There are about 50 different campsites so far.
