Reebok makes tactical boots? Yes, actually. They have been for a while. These bad boys used to actually be under the Converse line (where most of their boots are), but at some point, the brand switched them over to carry the Reebok banner. But if the name Reebok evokes images of urban sneakers and basketball shoes, think again. The Reebok Work Rapid Response boots know what they’re doing, and they’re built for just about anything; work, police duty, tactical situations.
They’re made from a suede leather and ballistic nylon upper, with a nylon mesh lining to keep your feet cool and dry. The outsole is a dual density, Mountain Trail Rubber Bottom with EVA Cushion Midsole, that is oil-resistant to keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, and prevent any slips or falls. The insole is a Removable F2A Polyurethane Cushion Insert with Shock Eliminator Heel Cushion. These boots are wicked comfortable on your feet, while maintaining their serious durability and toughness. A composite toe cap adds stiffness and, while not as durable as steel-toe, adds an extra layer of protection should something fall on your feet.
The Reebok Work Rapid Response come in both 6” and 8” versions. You can also choose between a straight lace-up, and a version with a YKK side zipper. Whether you need them for police duty or construction, they’ll hold up just fine, offering a level of protection smaller works boot cannot. And the tactical desert boot look makes them stand out from the crowd.
