09 May Proof Nomad Shorts Have Sleek Looks With Water-Repellent Fabric
We already like the Proof Nomad Pants, but it turns out their new Nomad Shorts are just as good. Designed to be a technical chino in short form, the Proof Shorts are made from a stretchy, 4-way fabric that doesn’t slow you down and restrict your movement and flexibility the way regular cotton shorts often do. The fabric, of course, lets you breathe coolly and comfortably, staying cool in both heat and high temperatures.
Perhaps the best of the fabric, however, is the water- and stain-resistance it comes with, ensuring that no matter what you spill on it – your morning (or afternoon) coffee, juice, that after-work drink – the liquid will just roll right off. That goes for rain, too; light rain will just bead up and roll off, making these excellent shorts to wear commuting. The fabric is also Bluesign-approved.
Two rear-welt, chino-style pockets on the back let you stash your wallet and keys comfortably; they even have snap buttons. There’s a hidden covert zip pocket inside the front pockets for hiding valuables you don’t want to lose track of.
The Nomad Shorts are another winning piece of technical clothing from Proof, that you can wear for just about anything – the outdoors, on the bike, relaxing and – dare we say it – work. Classy but cool.
