Electric bikes are becoming more and more popular all the time, especially with urban commuters who want an easy way to commute to work without breaking too much of a sweat. Generally, however, they have a much more modern look than the Munro 2.0, a retro style electric bike that closely resembles vintage motorcycles of days gone by.

Actually, the Munro 2.0 isn’t exactly an electric bike as it an electric motorcycle. It has no pedals, and in powered by a Bosch electric motor, that has a top speed of 28 MPH. That should be enough for urban commuting, and it is still small enough to fit in most bike lanes.

The battery pack is removable, and you can hook up two packs at the same time if you wish. Each pack has a range of 30 miles, so you can get a good 60 miles without having to switch packs or recharge. Disc brakes give you control and slow you down.

So if you’re looking a fun, vintage-styled and very easy to ride bike that gets you where you’re going sweat-free – but don’t want the full size and power of a motorcycle, the Munro 2.0 is a great choice. It will retail for about $1700, and is hitting American shores this summer.
