The Indian Scout is one of the most iconic motorcycles ever built, and the new 2017 model add some modern updates to this beautiful and classic bike. It’s a liquid-cooled V-twin engine, with 69 cubic inches and 100 horsepower, capable of putting out 5900 RPM and 72.2 lb-ft of torque. It’s got a new lightweight chassis and an engine cradle that dampens vibrations.
The aluminum frame is inspired by the original 1920’s Indian, as are the fleet sized fenders. The low seat design and long handlebars mean it handles and maneuvers nimbly at low speeds, and allow it to fit bikers from 5’0” to 6’ 4”, meaning it will fit just about anybody. Indian describes it as an agile and sporty bike, meant for everyday driving but still capable of a little fun.
The new Scout comes in 6 color choices – three of which come with the classic Indian logo painted on the fuel tank.
If you’re looking for a classic bike with an old-school silhouette, the Indian Classic is an unbeatable choice.
