Star Wars fan? In commemoration of the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Columbia and Lucas film have teamed up to release a line of winter jackets in the style of The Empire Strikes Back – precisely, the jackets worn by the films heroes at Echo Base on Hoth. It has been appropriately dubbed the Echo Base Collection, and consists of three pieces – the The Han Solo Echo Base Parka, Leia Organa Echo Base Jacket, and Luke Skywalker Echo Base Jacket. Each is modeled closely after the jacket worn in the film and costs in the vicinity of $400.
Each jacket in the Echo Base Collection is made of a quilted cotton blend, with a water-resistant coating on the outside for protection from the winter elements. Inside, there is Columbia’s Omni-Heat reflective coating, which reflects your body heat back at you.
There are only 1980 of each design produced, in honor of the film’s release date. And they’re selling quickly, so if you’d like one, now’s your chance. In addition, there is also an ultra-exclusive run of the Han Solo Echo Base Parka available, called the Han Solo Archive Edition Parka. It comes in Dark Brown, is signed by the man himself, Harrison Ford, and costs a hefty $1980. If that’s your style, don’t wait to get your hands on it.
