Seldom does a snow gear company team up with a knife maker. However, when it does, something pretty classy can result. That’s what happened when the Portland-based The James Brand knife maker teamed up with Salomon. The result is The Chapter X Salomon Orange + Titanium pocket knife, another knife that has a minimalist profile.
The like mindedness of Josh Dirksen and Wolfgang Nyvelt of Saloman and The James Brand Company desired to create a knife that focused on preparing the outdoorsman for backcountry snow. It’s a given the backcountry can deliver harsh conditions. The collaboration resulted in the anodized aluminum Chapter knife with custom laser-etched artwork exclusive to this limited edition release.
