3 Leather Sneakers To Spruce Up Summer

Best leather sneakers 2019

When most of us think sneakers, we think your classic woven tennis shoes, or we think something hip and plush. Few of thus think of getting real leather sneakers. Sure, we’d go for thin, inexpensive suede – but actual full-grain leather, dyed and tanned? That’s usually reserved for dress shoes and pricey casual boots.

If you ask us, however, leather sneakers are stylish staples. Attractive pieces made with high-end quality materials, more durable and longer lasting than your typical department store sneaker. And they’re the perfect way to upgrade your wardrobe and take it from “casual” to “low-key classy.”

Here are the three leather sneakers we’re eying this summer.

Nisolo Diego Low

Handcrafted in Leon, Mexico – the capital of leather shoes – these sneakers are nearly indistinguishable from your favorite pair of Vans. Except that they’re made of quality nubuck leather uppers and a full-on custom Vibram sole. Yes, Vibram. These classy sneakers should last pretty much forever (or at least a heck of a lot longer than that $50 pair of footwear).

Available in a classy Bone white and understated tobacco brown…these sneakers are leather lined, with a soft leather insole, come with both waxed and cotton laces…and are sure to elevate your everyday sneaker game.

Great Royale leather sneakers

These are snazzy. Designed in Brooklyn the Greats Royale perfectly combine low-key hoops-inspired style with premium Italian leather and old-fashioned, handmade craftmanship. Like the Nisolo Diego, they’re lined with a soft leather for supple comfort and have a custom-made outsole (decked out with GREATS branding).

Available in 7 colors – from classic Blanco (white on white) to classy brown Cuoio…these “kicks” feel fresh while giving you a serious upgrade over all those foam sneakers out there…

Pure class.

If you’re looking for a premium pair of leather sneakers (made from premium materials) and with a premium reputation to boot…look no further than Allen Edmonds Canal Court.

Allen Edmonds calls them dress sneakers; refined enough for the office but chill enough for daily wear, they look at home with jeans, chinos and dress pants alike.

While not Made in America, like rest of AE’s stuff, they have a cemented construction and rubber cup sole (along with the premium leather upper) that’s sure to last some time. Available in classy Walnut, understated Navy and sleek Black.
