KomalC Leather Briefcase: A Leather Briefcase You Can Actually Afford

A leather briefcase or messenger bag is an essential item for any man, a classic staple of men’s fashion that will never go out of style. The challenge, of course, is finding a high-quality, durable on that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg; it’s pretty much accepted you’ll spending a few hundred dollars to get a good one. Unfortunately, most affordable leather bags (and leather items of all kinds) tend to be a little lacking in the quality department, made of cheap “genuine leather” and generally poor fittings and weak stitching. Until, that is, we found this Hunter leather briefcase from KomalC.

This bag is made from smooth premium leather and lined with heavy-duty canvas, which has been given an aged, distressed look for some character. It’s not the largest of bags, or the smallest, and instead strikes a happy medium; small enough for carrying around without being too heavy (only 3.8 lbs), yet large enough to look good and carry everything you need. There’s ample room for storage; the front has two large pockets for your phone, keys, a book, while the inside has a divider to keep your laptop or tablet firmly in place. It can fit up to a 15” laptop.

But what really makes this bag special isn’t the design, but the quality you get for the price. The leather is thick and durable, while remaining soft and supple. The brass fittings and buckles are sturdy as well, and keep the leather shoulder strap firmly attached. For the price you’re paying, this is really quite the bag. Will you be handing it down to your kids? Probably not, but with perfect ratings on Amazon, it should last you a few years of everyday use.
