15 Nov Ford F-250 Project SD126 Concept Truck: This is a Spiced Up Orange Beast
Ford trucks are synonymous with America. So there’s no wonder the Ford F-250 Project SD126 Concept Truck made an impressive showing at the 2017 SEMA show, impressive enough to win Best in Show in the truck division. The SD126 was designed for those who gravitate to extreme off-road adventures. This orange machine is ready to tackle about any extreme terrain out there.
The concept truck’s foundation is a “souped up” Super Duty platform. This orange beast delivers performance from a 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 mated to a TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission. Those 42-inch tires are gigantic! The 126-inch wheelbase short bed supported on BDS and FOX suspension technology accommodate those massive tires.
Under the hood is extremely impressive; but what meets the eye is mind blowing.
