10 Sep The Davy Crockett Pellet Grill Can Be Controlled by WiFi
With the proliferation of smart devices and smart….everything, it really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that there are now Wifi-Enabled Grills. The Davy Crockett pellet grill is a small, portable grill meant for camping, tailgating, the beach – wherever you might need to take it – and features foldable legs to make that happen. The rack is large enough for 4-6 good sized steaks, or a lot of burgers. As a pellet grill, it can run off either 12v or 120AC power, and has an electric auger system that feeds pellets from the large hopper (17 lbs) into the firebox, where the hot rod ignites them, meaning you get all the smoky flavor of a wood fire, without the hassle.
But the real reason we like the Davy Crockett is the Sense-Mate, a built-in thermal sensor that monitors the grill’s temperature and is connected to the digital controller, which can be used to control the heat of the grill from 150-550 degrees, in 5 degree increments. This gives you some serious precision for cooking. A meat probe is built-in to the controller as well. You can then connect the digital controller to your phone via Wifi, and then monitor and control the temperature through the app, which means you may never even have to get up from your seat until the food is done. Efficient, right?
The Davy Crockett Pellet Grill is the perfect companion for grilling on the go, lets you have very precise control over your cooking, and is the perfect choice to up your grilling game at the next tailgate.
