02 Jun Top 10 Best EDC Wallets: Summer 2017 Edition
Wallets are one of those everyday items that most of us never give much though too – and you’re probably carrying around the cheapest pleather wallet you can find who knows how long ago. Thankfully, you won’t have to; we’ve done all the thinking for you, and compiled a guide of the 10 best EDC wallets for this summer.
What’s there to think about? As long as it holds your money, ID and a couple of cards, who cares, right?
Well, sort of. While we believe a good wallet should be as slim and minimalist as possible – we don’t necessarily feel it needs to be an afterthought (as it often is when you choose the cheapest, fake leather bi-fold lying around).
A good wallet be will be slim and low-profile enough to fit in any of your pockets – whether front, back or suit jacket. Stuffing a huge, bulky wallet into your front pocket looks ridiculous, as it bulges out. Sticking it into your back pocket, and sitting on it for hours a day, can lead to chronic back pain. Do yourself a favor and get a nice slim one that won’t cause any problems.
Next, take a look at how much you need to carry. It may come as a surprise to you, but you likely need to carry a lot less than you think you do, and a slim wallet with space for several cards (6-8) and some cash is probably more than enough. Many on this list hold up to 12, which is great – but the more you carry, the more bulky the wallet will be.
